Welcome to the official website of the Melbourne-Palm Bay Alumnae Chapter (MPBAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.  This Chapter is located in Melbourne, Florida and serves Southern and South Central Brevard County.  The MPBAC thrives with vibrant Deltas committed to sisterhood, scholarship and service based on the principles of our 22 Founders.  Delta’s rich legacy provides the opportunity, determination and commitment to serve by “Transforming Lives and Impacting Communities”.

With that, our Chapter membership provides experts in various careers ranging from education, engineers, lawyer, finance, business, ministry, pharmacist, social services, computer technology, and executives.  Our service commitment is also coupled with partnerships fostered in our community with the American Cancer Society-Relay for Life and the American Heart Association-Go Red for Women, which has strengthened our Physical and Mental Health Program. In addition, other service commitment extends through International Involvement associated with World Vision (Adopt-a-Child) and promoting the Haitian clean-water initiative. From a Political aspect, Delta Days at the State Capital has created a collaborative platform for our voices to be heard.

More importantly, the footprints of the implementation of the Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS Institute, which embraces young ladies and Delta Bookmark indicate our commitment toward Educational Involvement.  These programs have been possible through the Chapter sponsored Clarissa E. Hall Debutante Ball, a major fundraiser, which also provides the foundation for the Scholarship Program.  Other social activities include the Black Heritage Festival, Family Day Picnic and the Red and White Ball.

With evolving technology, the MPBAC is thrilled to reach the community as well as other Delta Chapters and Members in the United States and Abroad through cyber communication.
